Learning Links Academy provides half-day programs that are developmentally appropriate for young learners. We offer numerous sessions in order to accommodate the needs of every child. Due to the small class sizes, sessions fill up quickly, so please contact the school to determine the specific availability of sessions.
Mother’s Morning Out (18 months old)
The Mother’s Morning Out program provides the perfect combination of play, learning opportunities and flexibility for our youngest learners. High quality activities are specifically designed for your child’s attention span and to stimulate their curiosity. The warm and energetic teaching team engages children in a morning of socialization and hands-on activities. These activities make the classroom come alive with smiles and laughter. Our nurturing environment provides the opportunity for our youngest children to begin on the road to independence. As your little one leaves your arms, our Mother’s Morning Out program will embrace and cherish them just like you would.

Explorer (young 2-year-olds)
Designed for the inquisitive nature of young children, the Explorer program provides an introduction to the progressive Learning Links Academy curriculum. Our young learners will participate in a wide array of well planned, independent and group activities. They will be free to create, explore and discover the world around them. Student’s learning is supported in a well-integrated environment, inspiring the imagination. Young children need to move and experience through their senses. They absorb the warmth of their teachers thus, thriving in this loving classroom environment. The Explorer class promises to encourage your child as they step into the next chapter of their childhood.

Investigator (older 2-year-olds/young 3-year-olds)
With an abundance of opportunities to promote verbal, social and physical growth our Investigator classroom is an ideal setting for the curious young learner. The dedicated and talented teaching team encourages children’s independence and positive self-images through age-appropriate activities. Teachers understand that children learn best through a multi-sensory approach and a hands-on discovery-based learning curriculum is provided. This lays the foundation for our children to be empowered with a strong sense of self. Each day children are given the opportunities to experience the joys of learning. As the year progresses, you will see your child’s knowledge expand as we create rich memories for your children.

Inventor (older 3-year-olds)
Our Inventor program is designed to take its students to the next level of social, emotional and academic growth. It promises to create memorable learning experiences for all of our students. When you enter the Inventor classroom children will have daily exposure to small group learning, scientific investigations, creative expression and mathematical reasoning. Inventor children bring energy to the classroom that is embraced and welcomed. Our teaching team takes their energy and funnels it into a zest for learning. Our Inventor children participate in customized learning activities that are individualized for each student’s specific needs. This classroom is the keystone to our progressive upper academy curriculum. It will set the stage for your child’s future as they expand their understanding and curiosity of the world around them. PreKindergarten (4-year-olds)
Our PreKindergarten program will form the foundation as your child is fully immersed in our upper academy curriculum. They are exposed to, and will participate in, concentrated learning experiences. These include literacy studies, advanced problem solving, reading readiness, mathematical reasoning and socialization essential for the well-rounded child. Students are encouraged to explore their independence by expressing ideas and establishing meaningful relationships with their friends. Children meet in small groups daily for in-depth studies, individually tailored to meet their specific academic needs. Ample opportunities to discover, investigate and create are daily occurrences.

Transitional Kindergarten (5-year-olds)
The comprehensive Transitional Kindergarten program is specifically designed to provide the building blocks necessary for success in kindergarten. Specialized learning programs are carefully chosen to meet the needs of each child. By focusing on individualized instruction, our teaching team is able to cultivate the student’s innate abilities and nurture individual readiness. Our students are immersed in a classroom where learning experiences are enhanced through investigative sciences, literacy groups, cultural awareness and mathematical reasoning. Upon completion of Transitional Kindergarten your child will be a confident learner, responsible citizen and ready to embrace the challenges as they seamlessly enter Kindergarten.
